Large tiles: Tiles this large are quite difficult to make. They are pressed by hand and dry slowly over a period of a month or longer. They are then fired very slowly in the larger kilns and are glazed by hand painting each individual leaf, flower or ornamentation. Multiple firings allow the glazes to blend harmoniously.
