A Handmade Tile Studio



Welcome to Verdant Tile Studio



Tilework inspired by the Landscape, Flora and Fauna of England and France The Colours of Provence, and mixed with the Aesthetics of William Morris and the British Arts & Crafts Movement.


All the Tiles are made by Hand in my Artisan Studio in the Uxbridge Countryside, Canada.

The Tiles are made in a traditional tile making method: hand drawn, carved and molded, and then hand pressed with Woodland and Garden imagery.

Multiple firings and layers upon layers of jewel tone transparent glazes are applied meticulously by hand. The Limited Production Studio Line of tiles are all designed for installation in backsplashes, fireplace and hearth, and bathroom, wall applications.


The Studio now offers only four pressings a year, with limited availability, as I will be retiring the Tile Studio in the Near Future, as I have a very busy Sculpture Studio Practice.


Please plan in advance to get your order placed for those Pressing Times.

Once a Pressing is Full, an order can be placed on the next Pressings Schedule Order board. (no exceptions)

important Studio News





The Tile Line depicted on this website is NOW RETIRED.

In Autumn 2023 I will be releasing Three new designs of the

New Architectural Brick Tile Panel series.


Each year there will be added a few new designs to collect.

The Beauty of Flora and the Wild Fauna will still prevail~

In high relief sculptural panels with each tile in a beautiful monochrome terracotta glaze, with lots of gestural slip work.


I will also be releasing it here and also on Instagram @VerdantTileCo
